Housed within our old family olive mill in the village of Chlomos, Corfu, The Witch’s Cellar is a space devoted to ancestral magic, practical witchcraft, and the living traditions of folk spirituality. Rooted in the land, in inherited knowledge, and in the practices passed down through generations, the Cellar brings together magical practice, ritual work, and traditional herbal craft in a setting shaped by the history of the place itself.

This unofficial blog, written primarily in Greek for a Greek-speaking audience, explores the mythology and hidden symbolic layers behind the cards, looking beyond their literary dimension to examine the deeper occult currents they may contain. Through analysis, historical references, and magical approaches, I investigate the deck’s relationship with older spiritual traditions and the ways in which it may be approached as a tool of genuine magical practice. The blog is intended primarily for those interested in the Greek occult and folk-magic landscape, offering a different reading of Deste through the lens of traditional magical art.
